The Becky L'Homme Memorial Award is awarded each year at the provincial championships. It is presented to a coach who exemplifies the leadership and dedication to the sport and their community. The award is named after the late Becky L'Homme former athlete, and more recently dedicated coach. Becky was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at one month old (as her older sister had already been diagnosed), and fought the disease for 25 years. Although she was battling CF Becky was dedicated to the sport of skipping. She attended practices and always pushed the skippers to their best potential. Becky's heart made her the coach she was, it was most important to her that the kids enjoy & have fun first & foremost, even at competition.

The Kelly Davidson award is awarded each year at the provincial championships. It is presented to an athlete who exemplifies the sportsmanship, leadership and dedication to the sport and their community. The award is named after the late Kelly Davidson. Kelly was an energetic, creative and motivated athlete, who loved our sport. She had strong leadership skills and never failed to achieve personal goals. From the moment she entered the gym till the moment she left the gym, Kelly was always trying her hardest and helping other jumpers out. Kelly was a very good student who was also very involved both within her school and community.

Kelly Davidson left her mark in the Jump Rope World. She was an eager participant and was filled with Jump Rope Spirit. I was very fortunate to have coached Kelly. Although she seemed quiet and calm, she had a certain drive to try her hardest and do her best as an individual and as a teammate. When she was out on the gym floor, her motivation and hard work was an example for everyone to follow, she amazed me.
